We have been taught that the death of Jesus on the cross takes away our sin. But exactly how does that work? Does Jesus take our rightful place in order to placate an angry God? Or does somehow Jesus’ death break the power of death? We will find that each understanding sheds light on all the ways God loves and cares for us.
